Effective September 25, 2026
Self Improving ("the app") is a habit and self-improvement app developed by Ali Kaptanoğlu ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app handles and why. In short: your progress stays on your device, the app has no accounts, no ads and no analytics, and we do not sell anyone's data.
Your name (if you enter one), your onboarding answers, deeds, progress, levels, laurels, maxims and settings are saved only in the app's storage on your device. They are not sent to us or to any server. Reminders are scheduled locally by your device's operating system.
You can erase this information at any time with Settings → Reset all data, or by uninstalling the app.
Subscriptions are sold and billed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never see your payment details. To check whether a subscription is active, the app uses RevenueCat, a subscription management service. RevenueCat receives a random, app-specific identifier (not your name, email or advertising ID), your purchase and subscription records, and basic technical details such as the platform, app version and country of the store. This information is used only to provide and restore your subscription.
If you choose to send us a bug report or a message, we receive your email address and whatever you write. The bug report form pre-fills the app version, the operating system version and your device model so that we can reproduce problems; you can delete these lines before sending. We use this information only to answer you and fix the app.
The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Because your progress stays on your device, you control it directly. To ask about, or request deletion of, the subscription records held by RevenueCat for your purchases, email us from the address below. The steps are on the Delete your data page.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
