Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the FixCV Android application ("FixCV", "the app"), published under package com.kaptanoglu.fixcv. By downloading or using FixCV, you agree to these Terms.

1. What FixCV Does

FixCV uses AI (via a third-party language model provider) to analyze, tailor, rewrite, and format CVs/resumes and cover letters based on content you provide. You may use the app to generate a limited amount of content for free; continued or unlimited use of AI features requires a paid Premium subscription.

2. Subscriptions

FixCV Premium is an auto-renewing subscription billed through Google Play. The price and billing period are shown on the in-app purchase screen and on the Play Store listing before you buy.

Payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
The subscription automatically renews for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in Google Play → Menu → Subscriptions, or via "Manage subscription" in FixCV's Settings screen.
No partial refunds are given for the unused portion of a billing period when you cancel; your access continues until the end of the period you already paid for.
Prices may vary by country and are subject to change; existing subscribers will be notified of price changes as required by Google Play policy before any change applies to them.

3. AI-Generated Content — No Guarantee of Accuracy

FixCV's analysis, scores, rewrites, and generated text are produced by an AI model and are provided for informational and drafting assistance only. They may contain mistakes, omissions, or inaccuracies. You are solely responsible for reviewing, fact-checking, and editing any AI-generated content before using it in a real job application, resume, or cover letter. FixCV does not guarantee any particular hiring outcome, interview, or ATS score result.

4. Your Content

You retain all rights to the CV content, job postings, and other text you submit. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to submit that content (for example, don't paste someone else's confidential job posting or personal data without permission). Content you submit for processing is sent to our AI provider to generate your result and is not stored by FixCV's backend afterward.

5. Acceptable Use

Don't use FixCV to generate content that is unlawful, fraudulent (e.g. fabricated credentials or fake employment history intended to deceive an employer), abusive, or that infringes someone else's rights. We may suspend access for abuse of the service.

6. No Warranty

FixCV is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will meet your expectations.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FixCV's developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including lost job opportunities — arising from your use of the app or reliance on AI-generated content.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
