Delete your data
Boring Person Remover · by Boring Cat · Last updated September 19, 2026
Boring Person Remover has no accounts. The only data we hold on our server is tied to a pseudonymous identifier of your device. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
How to request deletion
- Send an email to ongorunet@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my data – Boring Person Remover”. You can also open the app, go to Settings → Report a bug and write “Delete my data”.
- If you bought Pro or credits, include your Google Play order number (it starts with GPA. and is in your purchase receipt email). It lets us find the records that belong to you.
- We confirm by email and delete the data within 30 days.
What we delete
- Your device's pseudonymous identifier and your balance of free, purchased and redeemed removals.
- Records of your purchases and redeemed codes, and the matching customer record at RevenueCat, our purchase-validation provider.
What is kept
- Google Play keeps its own order records under Google's privacy policy; we can't delete those.
- Daily counters used to prevent abuse of free removals. They hold a one-way hash of a network address and a number, and no device identifier.
Photos
Photos are never stored on our server. When you tap Remove People, the photo is processed by our AI provider, which deletes uploaded photos and results automatically after about three days. The edited photo exists only where you save it on your phone.
If you never made a purchase, the server only holds the random identifier with your removal counters. It is not linked to your name, email address or Google account.
