Boring Guitar Tuner does not collect, store or transmit any personal data. It has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party SDKs.
The app is not granted the INTERNET permission on Android,
so it is not technically capable of sending anything anywhere. You can
verify this yourself in the app's permission list.
The microphone
The app asks for one permission: RECORD_AUDIO. A tuner has
to hear the string to measure it.
- Audio is analysed on your device, in memory, while the tuner screen is open.
- Nothing is recorded to a file, saved, buffered to storage or uploaded.
- The audio never leaves the device — it cannot, see above.
- The microphone is released as soon as you leave the tuner or send the app to the background.
- You can refuse the permission. Everything except the tuner and the two listening ear-training drills still works.
What is stored on your phone
These stay on your device, in the app's private storage, and are removed when you uninstall the app:
- Your settings — reference pitch, chosen tuning, note-name style and switches.
- Custom tunings you create.
- The optional tuning history: which string you brought into tune and when. You can turn this off in Settings, and clear it at any time.
None of it is readable by us or by anyone else.
Children
The app collects no data from anyone, of any age.

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date below.

Şunlar cihazınızda, uygulamanın özel alanında kalır ve uygulamayı kaldırdığınızda silinir:
- Ayarlarınız — referans frekans, seçili akort, nota adı biçimi ve anahtarlar.
- Oluşturduğunuz özel akortlar.
- İsteğe bağlı akort geçmişi: hangi teli ne zaman akort ettiğiniz. Ayarlar'dan kapatabilir, istediğiniz zaman temizleyebilirsiniz.
Bunların hiçbirini biz veya bir başkası okuyamaz.
Çocuklar
Uygulama hiç kimseden, hiçbir yaşta veri toplamaz.
Değişiklikler
Bu politika değişirse güncel sürüm bu sayfada, aşağıda yeni bir tarihle yayımlanacaktır.
